Early Years Transition
Our programme for transition from nursery to P1 begins in September. Throughout the year nursery children and their buddies from P1 are involved in a range of learning experiences to help ensure a smooth move from nursery to P1. This culminates in June with an induction session when parents and carers are invited to an information afternoon.
Transition from Primary to Secondary School
Pupils normally transfer between the ages of eleven and a half and twelve and a half, so that they will have the opportunity to complete at least four years of secondary education. Parents will be informed of the arrangements no later than December of the year preceding the date of transfer at the start of the new session.
