‘Better Behaviour- Better Learning’ with our Promoting Positive Behaviour Committee
The development of a positive ethos within schools is the foundation for better learning. The establishment of a positive learning environment at school and classroom level is key to effective learning and teaching. Effective learning and teaching is dependent on positive relationships established at school and classroom level through inter-actions between staff and pupil and between pupils themselves.
The Positive Behaviour Committee work together with the Rights Respecting School Committee to promote positive behaviour in our school. A pupil representative from every class in the school is on the committee and they work hard to suggest ideas and evaluate behaviour management and support within our school.
The Pupil Positive Behaviour Committe are currently working with Stonewall on the School Champions Programme. We are hoping to write an equal and inclusive behaviour and anti-bullying policy.
