Dropping off and collecting pupils
You are here: School Safety > Dropping off and collecting pupils

If your child is walking to school by themselves, please encourage them to walk safely on the pavement and cross with the crossing patrol officer (Mrs Brownlie) if required.

If you are driving your child to school, or collecting them at the end of the day, please avoid stopping on the double yellow lines outside the school.   We recommend that you drop your child off and pick up your child in the car park behind the school.    Alternatively you can park in one of the side streets near the school and walk with your child to the playground.

All pupils enter the campus by the path running alongside the nursery.  They line up in the playground and enter the school by the doors at the back of the building.

At the end of the school day, all children are taken to the back doors by their teacher who will wait until every child has been collected.  Please do not stand too close to the school building so that we can see the children meeting the adult who is collecting them.  If, for any reason, you are going to be late collecting your child, please phone the school office and we will keep your child safe until you arrive.
