Welcome to Primary 7. I am sure that many of you are finding it hard to believe that your child is now in their final year at Primary School. It can be a daunting prospect to imagine that this time next year they will be at Secondary School. However, you can rest assured that lots of work will be done throughout the course of this year to ease this transition.
It is an exciting time, but there is much to be done, expectations are high and we are all looking forward to working with you and your children to ensure that this is a positive, productive and happy year.

LITERACY
Over the next weeks, focus on trying to up-level your writing by:
- using adventurous vocabulary
- including advanced connectives
- starting sentences in different ways
- using varied punctuation
Read the pages set in your group novel and do a follow up activity from the list in your reading journal.
Other tasks will be set in the P7 Google Classroom.
NUMERACY
Work for Maths/Numeracy groups will be set in a Google Classroom by the teacher of your group.
