Design Technology is a subject thriving under the new Curriculum for Excellence. The Department have worked hard to design new courses that inspire curiosity in the pupils, making them want to learn, design and problem solve independently and as part of a team.
Graphic Communication, Design & Manufacture and Practical Woodworking Skills are the three courses on offer. Each aspect of Design & Technology has been structured to be fun, interesting, relevant and challenging. Each course looks to develop pupils social skills as well as teaching them skills and knowledge that can be used in modern society, preparing them for world of work or further education.
