School Canteen: The Core Café
The school operates a cashless catering system with cards and pin numbers. Pupils then queue for their meals and type in their pin number to pay. There is also a pre-order service which pupils can use if they want to get their lunch more quickly, for example if they are going to a lunchtime club. There is a pre-order machine in the school foyer. Pupils can put in their card/number and choose what they want between 8am and the end of the school interval at 11.00. It will then be prepared for the beginning of lunchtime, when the pupil simply collects their order. It does not include the full range of hot meals, but does include soup and baked potatoes!
Please encourage your sons and daughters to use this system - they do not have to queue!
Price Increase for School Meals
West Dunbartonshire has written to advise us that the price of a school meal will be increased by 2.5% as from 18th April 2011. This is in line with a decision made as part of the Council’s budget setting process that all sales, fees and charges should be increased by 2.5%. The price of a two course meal will now be £1.75.
