Our sixth-year Charities Committee recently held a quiz night for the Starlight Foundation.  Pupils, parents and staff took part in the event, which was hosted by our own Stephen Halkett (PT Pastoral Care).  As well as paying an entry fee, a raffle was held during the evening.  The evening raised an excellent £976.80 – it really was a great night and very well organised by the Seniors! 

 

Mr Jim West, one of out technical teachers took part in a Sky Dive  during the Easter Break.  Mr West was given the sky-dive as a birthday present from his family – he then decided to raise money for the Starlight Foundation through sponsorship.  Mr West raised £461 for the charity – very well done!  

 

Mr West reports that he enjoyed it so much he might do it again!
