Welcome to Thistlebank Primary School

Our goal at Thistlebank is to provide a happy, warm, secure learning space which will inspire in our children a positive attitude to work, self, others and the environment. We will encourage your child to reach his/her potential in every direction - academic, aesthetic, personal, social, physical and emotional.

Our relationship with parents is informal. We meet many of you in the course of the events and activities organised by the Schools Board and the PTA. Another way to get to know us is to become involved in helping out with playground supervision or classroom assistance.

If problems arise, we deal with them initially through discussion: we encourage parents and pupils alike to approach us at an early point with any worries, great or small.
