‘XL’ is a Prince’s Trust run course that runs over two years.  The programme starts in third year and runs until the end of fourth year.  The course is divided into five different sections which include Personal, Interpersonal and Teambuilding Skills, Citizenship and Community Awareness, Community Based Project, Enterprise and the World of Work.   Each group is unique as the students are encouraged to use their own ideas for each of the above sections.  The programme is normally run by two trained Prince’s Trust Advisors.  Alongside the Prince’s Trust Award the pupils have in the past gained Asdan Awards.  From this year the programme will run alongside an SQA Access Award.
