Pupils continue to study the subjects they started in third year. For those pupils who have successfully completed their S Grade English in S3, they begin on a two year programme towards Higher English or another NQ Level (as appropriate to each individual).
At the end of fourth year, pupils will undertake national examinations and will be awarded certificates that state the subjects taken, the Grade, the Award and the Profile of Performance.
