Our “School Aims” state:

"Working with parents, we seek to develop our pupils personally, socially and academically. We develop self-discipline, social awareness and responsibility. We strive for academic success. We do this through the widest possible curriculum, both formal and informal."

Caroline Stewart is the Duncanrig Home School Partnership worker.  She has an office in the House Block at Duncanrig and can be contacted on 01355 234254.  Caroline organises a number of events to which both parents and carers are invited.

EVENTS

• Tue 7th Feb 2006  -  Beat the Winter Blues
  • Come along and try cooking, Indian head massage, have a health MOT. The evening will be informal and refreshments will be provided.
• Wed 8th Feb 2006  -  Cooking Course (6 weeks)
• The tutor will base the menu on healthy cooking.  Places are limited on a first come first served basis.  The course will run from 6.45pm to 8.45pm.  The course is free.
• Thursday 23rd March - Young People and Alcohol - A Parents` Guide
• Free workshops, (11.30am - 1.30pm  and 6.30pm - 8.30pm) covering alcohol related issues and young people.  Contact Caroline Stewart for details.
