 We are pleased to announce that a team of external developers are currently rebuilding our existing school website with the aim of producing a dynamic  future-proofed site capable of running on many platforms.  It is anticipated that the new website will be available in beta format by the start of the final term. As well as the usual school information the website will have a secure pupil area where course notes, presentations and homework should be available.

 I am delighted to announce that Duncanrig has been awarded the prestigious Gold Award by Sport Scotland.  The School Sport Award is a national initiative that is designed to encourage schools to continuously improve the quality and quantity of physical education, school sport opportunities and healthy living. It also encourages sporting links between schools and the communities around them.

We were assessed in the following areas;

1. Physical education

2. School sport

3. Pathways

4. Compete and perform

5. Celebrating sport

6. Leadership

7. Career Long Professional Learning

8. Recognition and awards

9. Access to school facilities

Congratulations to the staff of the PE department, other members of staff and volunteers involved in taking sports teams and clubs within the school, as well as our Active School

Co-ordinator, Carina Gray and our Young Sports Ambassadors.
