About Continuing Education Gateway (CEG)

A dynamic, enterprising Scottish economy underpinned by a learning society which ensures all individuals have the opportunity to maximise their potential and play an active role in their community. Since 1989, Continuing Education Gateway (CEG) has provided high quality information relating to social inclusion, career guidance and lifelong learning in Scotland, through state-of-the-art websites and reference books.

CEG is hosted by Glasgow City Council. Core funding comes from ten forward thinking local authorities in the West of Scotland, and further income is generated through projects for other organisations such as the Scottish Executive and the European Union.

CEG has developed a well-earned reputation for being innovative, reliable and cost-effective, and its publications, products and services are used throughout Scotland, by schools, colleges and organisations such as Careers Scotland.
